Full Description

Specifies criteria and requirements that track a wood or forest product from its origin in a certified forest through to its end use as a wood or forest product by the consumer. The Standard covers all intermediate steps in the certification chain such as harvesting, transporting, primary and secondary processing, manufacturing, re-manufacturing, distribution and sales. It is applicable to wood and forest products emanating from certified forests which are being managed for wood production regardless of type and scale of ownership or forest type, whether natural or planted forests
